Solutions Plus Training

Solutions Plus Training is the new name for AMA Victoria's education and training unit.

Solutions Plus Training offers professional development and education and training programs for medical and health professionals and support staff. We have developed strong links within the health and education sector over many years, which enable us to deliver a broad range of programs. In addition, our programs are delivered using current education best practice by experienced presenters.

Solutions Plus Training is also able to conduct customised training in the workplace which focuses on specific learning needs. To achieve the best outcome we work with facilities and organisations to identify the most effective training solution, and then deliver it at a competitive price.

Impairment Assessment Training (AMA4)

AMA Victoria delivers courses in Impairment Assessment using the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment 4th Edition and other prescribed methods, as applied to relevant Victorian legislation. Successful completion of a course enables medical practitioners to assess impairments for TAC, WorkCover and for the purposes of Part VBA of the Wrongs Act 1958 (personal injury).
