Security of venue Venue security will patrol the area. Any damages that occur and/or any suspicious people seen in the area will be dealt with by venue security. Trams/Trains and Buses Melbourne offers a range of public transport facilities, with a network of trams, trains and buses. Flinders Street Train Station is within walking distance from Melbourne Park. There are tram routes that run up Flinders St and go straight to Melbourne Park. Tram 70 (Wattle Park) Tram services from Flinders Street and Richmond Stations stop at Melbourne Park (Rod Laver Arena / Melbourne Park Function Centre) and Vodafone Arena. Take from Flinders Street to Wattle Park. Tram 48 (North Balwyn) & Tram 75 (Vermont South) Stops adjacent to MCG on Wellington Parade.
