Renew your membership for 2009 and play your part in advancing the profession
You will shortly receive your 2009 membership renewal invoice, and you are encouraged to renew your membership for 2009 now to help maintain the momentum built throughout 2008.
It has been a challenging year for AMA Victoria, but we have achieved a lot: the introduction of new services and training, increased media presence, and greater political exposure.
In line with our ongoing commitment to advance the profession, in 2009 we will:
- introduce new seminars and courses for professional development
- expand our medical practice staff placement business (mpstaff)
- further develop our practice services
- introduce new networking events
- organise International Medical Graduate seminars; and
- further develop the Victorian Medical Directory.
We will also continue to advocate the needs of the profession and lobby the government to make the necessary changes to the Victorian health system for the benefit of our members and their patients.
It is only through a collegiate front with a strong voice that we can achieve the positive changes we seek in the medical profession and the Victorian health system.
By renewing your membership today, you are supporting the rights of all doctors and making a commitment to ensure the continuous improvement of Victoria's health system.
Membership is effective 1 January to 31 December 2009. Your payment is tax deductible. Payment includes membership of AMA Limited.
