Membership of AMA Victoria is open to medical practitioners of good standing holding current registration to practice in Victoria. Doctors who join AMA Victoria automatically become members of the federal AMA, the peak body advancing the interests of doctors with the Australian Government.

Medical students studying with the University of Melbourne, Monash University and Deakin University may join AMA Victoria as Honorary Student members for free.
